“What begins?”, I hear you (my imaginary reader) asking.
A grand adventure, of course. Well, I suppose the adventure hasn’t quite started, but the lead-up has. Or at least the lead-up to the lead-up. Something has certainly begun.
“Wait, what are you talking about?”
Our house went on the market this morning, and people are already viewing it. So I guess we’re really doing this full-timing thing.
“I’m confused, ‘full-timing’?”
Yeah, Jennifer (my lovely wife of 17 years) and I are going to travel the country full-time in a shiny silver Airstream trailer!
There are about a million things to get done before we put the first miles under the wheels of our Airstream. The house needs to sell, we need to figure out what we’re keeping and what we’re getting rid of. We have to figure out where on earth we’re going to keep that stuff we’re keeping, and how to get rid of what we’re getting rid of. Man, I’m exhausted just thinking about this.
Oh, we should probably actually buy an Airstream too. It might even be helpful if we owned a truck with which to pull said theoretical Airstream with.
“It sounds like you’re putting yourself under a bit of a time crunch.”
I know, don’t remind me.
“So how exactly did you come up with this idea?”
That, my dear reader, is a story for another post!
